Please don't rename the downloaded file — the connection settings are built into its name.

If Windows shows a security notice, choose Keep, then More info → Run anyway. This is the official digitally-signed RustDesk remote-desktop app, preconfigured for RabenIT's private server.

Open it and read Jeff your ID

  1. Open the downloaded file (check your Downloads folder).
  2. A window opens showing Your Desktop — ID.
  3. Read the 9-digit ID to Jeff over the phone — that's it!
🔒 For ongoing support, click Install inside the app when Jeff asks — then he can help even when you're away from the keyboard.

Prefer TeamViewer?

Download TeamViewer

If Jeff has been helping you with TeamViewer, use this instead: run it, then read Jeff the session code it shows (no install needed).

For IT folks: one-line install (Admin PowerShell)

Right-click Start → Terminal (Admin), paste, press Enter. Installs the latest RustDesk as a service, preconfigured for rust.rabenit.com, and prints the support ID.
